Residents were surprised to see a Guardia Civil helicopter coming up the valley in Nigüelas in the Valle de Lecrín; it was on a search mission.
A 47-year-old man, Iván Montiel Robles, went missing yesterday morning after not returning to his home last night, a search was launched this morning, hence the helicopter flying around and over the village.
He was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with a grey sweat shirt underneath. He is 1.72 metres tall and wears prescription glasses.
