Starting today temperatures are going up again after a small inland respite and a little rain elsewhere in the country, brought by an 'atmospheric river.'
An atmospheric river (AR) is a meteorological term for a narrow corridor of concentrated moisture in the atmosphere, also known as a ‘cloud band.’
