The Guardia Civil have arrested the same individual twice in two days for a break-in in Lanjarón and theft in Órgiva.
In the case of Lanjarón, the 23-year-old suspect with an impressive arrest sheet allegedly broke into a bar and in the case of Órgiva, a motorbike was stolen.
It was in the early hours of the morning on the 19th of September in Lanjarón that the suspect used a hammer to smash open a gambling machine, as well as taking what cash was in the till as a float for the next day.
Not content with the night’s work, he reportedly stole a tin containing the week’s tips (200 euros) and set fire to the gambling machine.
The next day the Guardia Civil inspected footage from the CCTV and had no difficulty recognising the suspect.
Then on the 22nd of September, officers from Lanjarón were out patrolling in Órgiva when they came across the suspect identified in the CCTV footage. He was arrested, charged and released pending appearing before a magistrate. However, on that same day, the police picked him up again, suspected of having stolen a motorbike in that town.
