A woman was arrested on the canine beach (Playa del Cable) in Motril after her dog bit a beach auxilary hired by the Junta de Andalucía.
Not content with her mutt munching on this unfortunate beach stomper, she then got into a heated argument with the Policía Local patrol that had appeared to investigate the incident.
The police officers had asked her (ambitiously) to show them the dog’s docs, which she didn’t have on her, so when they asked her to accompany them to the station, she decided to lock herself into her car and refuse to come out.
Appealing to her to be reasonable, she finally emerged from the car and dutifully accompanied them to the police station to be formally identified, etc.
And the moral of the story is… feed your dog before taking it to the beach.
