Today’s article from a decade ago is about a La Herradura resident that decided to send a live anaconda to Madrid inside a package marked ‘books.’

Back in 2009, José Montalvo, a multi-talented musician-artist, knocked up tailored cartoons for us, which were very popular, to accompany some articles.

Montalvo, as many simply know him by, is better known for his guitar playing at the Almuñécar open-mike nights, where he doubles as the sound man.
