Great news for beer lovers because the Cervezas Alhambra brewery in Granada will be doing guided tours on the 27th & 28th of this month! And you didn’t believe in Santa!
Yes, Mahou San Miguel (who owns Alhambra beers) want to promote the art of beer drinking in Spain; a country that is a traditional wine-drinking culture. And who are we to stand in their way?
On these two hallowed days the Master Beer Brewer will take the visitors through the beer-brewing process, explaining the difference between the many varieties of Cervezas Alhambra.
And then comes… the blind beer tasting! The good news is that you don’t have to be blind because this basically means you won’t be able to actually see which beer your are sampling. Sneaky, eh?
To be included amongst these types of brews, they will be wheeling out their latest brew, which had been fermented in old wine barrels, used for sherry: Amontillado, Palo Cortado and Pedro Ximénez.
According to the bossman, they’re tickled pink to have the chance to show people around the brewery and exhibit their finest nectar!
