Should you be thinking that the fiestas are over, barring the Kings, then you’re wrong because the Río Verde village of Jete is in the middle of its fiestas, which finish on the 4th.

Otívar held its fiestas during the week of the bank holidays at the beginning of December. Lentegí held its annual fiestas over Christmas, starting on the 25th and ending on the 27th, and now Jete is firing off rockets and rocking to the fairground attractions in the lower square with dance groups livening up the evenings with live music.

So, if you haven’t had enough of fiestas… head up the Valle Río Verde!
