A man was arrested for stealing 540 euros from a prostitute; the sum that he had just paid her for her services – it’s a long story, but here goes…

The incident occurred in Granada on Monday the 20th when the client offered to drive her home after having carried out the task at hand in a hotel in the north of the city. She agreed but once in the car he told her that they should go and buy some cocaine first.

She didn’t think it such a good wheeze and expressed her disapproval. At this point he allegedly produced a large knife and hinted convincingly that the 540 euros would be much happier in his possession again.

She handed over the money and whilst he was out of the car on the quest for ‘nasal mischief’ she escaped and went straight home, but not before grabbing his mobile and car keys.

In the meantime the man phoned the police from the bus station to denounce the woman for stealing his phone and car keys, giving her home address, so the police went to her house and discovered her version of events – she also handed over the keys and phone…

The police then went to the bus station and arrested the man. The money, however, was ‘missing in action.’ In fact, the man has 20 previous arrests all concerning fraud, bless him.
