The Port Police uncovered a hidden drug stash in a secret compartment within a large van, thanks to the help of a sniffer dog called Mendi.

The vehicle, which had disembarked from the Melilla ferry, Volcán de Tinamar, had 16 kilos of hashish resin, distributed between 165 separate packets, behind a false wall.

The 53-year-old driver is a Moroccan man, resident of the Netherlands.
