The new car park on El Playazo was opened on the Friday the 21st of June, just in time for San Juan.

This new parking area, which is at the western end of the beach, has space for 300 cars and is accessed directly from the N-340.

Councillor, Nieves Atencia, promised that adequate signposting would be erected to make it easy for beach goers to find where to park.
