Visitors to the Casa de la Cultura in Salobreña’s La Caleta, which also covers La Guardia, will be happy to know that it now has its own OAC, or Oficina de Atención al Ciudadano, similar to the one in the Town Hall.
This new office will mean that residents from La Caleta and La Guardia will not have to traipse into Salobreña to sort out certain bureaucratic paperwork. Such services as empadronamientos, requests for licences and paying bills can be done from this new office service, for example.
“We want to bring the Town Hall to the residents of La Caleta – La Guardia [rather than vice versa], which is why we have opened this new office, equipped with the necessary computer equipment and staff,” explained the First Councillor for La Caleta/Guardia, Irene Justo.
Furthermore, the computer-room for members of the general public has had its number of computers increased.
The opening times for the OAC is from 10.00h to 13.00h and 16.00h to 18.00h. Whether this includes weekends was not specified.
