Three members of the Almuñécar fire service will join an expedition that set off from the fire station on Tuesday enroute for Poland with humanitarian aid.
Tomorrow will see a tree-planting event along Río Guadalfeo where it passes through Salobreña as part of the Custodia de los Ríos programme belonging to the Provincial Council.
Volunteers working along the Río Guadalfeo in Salobreña haven’t only picked up rubbish and planted trees, but they have given amphibians a helping hand, too.
On Monday, Almuñécar Councillor for Beaches & Tourism, Daniel Barbero, was shown the fishing equipment and rubbish brought up from the seabed by volunteers.
