He confirmed that in the first Plenary meeting of the Town Council it was agreed to reduce the Blue Zone timetables, although not as much as his party had proposed.

New Roundabout Demand

With the ever-growing numbers of visitors to the very popular Cantarrijan beach, just west of La Herradura, calls for a roundabout to be built on the N-340 are also growing. In fact, several plenary meetings of the municipal council have culminated in a request to the Demarcacion de Carretera (road authorities) for such a junction, as well as one at the entrance to the Urbanizacion de Las Palomas, just before the Cerro Gordo tunnel.
