Thanks to the efforts of the Salobreña International Club, children can now enjoy the new swings in the Parque La Fuente.The play apparatus was purchased by the club as part of their collaboration with the Department of the Environment belonging to the Salobreña Town Hall.

A month or so back we reported on the Club’s actions to help eliminate ugly graffiti around the town, our readers might remember.

The swings were bought using funds raised at the Eco-Rastro, which is held on the first Saturday of every month in the said park.

The Councillor for the Environment, Martín Valenzuela praised the Salobreña International Club for its efforts and pointed out that the club had already donated park benches for the Parque La Fuente and a pergola.
