The first trials of the Campeonato de Andalucía de Motocross took place on the 10th of June on the hillside in Taramay, Almuñécar. The event was held on a specially built track circuit beneath Hotel Playacálida on the Playa Cabria side.

The La Herradura Medieval Fair kicks off on Friday the 15th at 18.00h and will conclude on Sunday. There will be stacks of activities, ranging from birds of prey to donkey rides, bouncy castles to the village’s brick and mortar one, and plenty of Medieval costumes and tasty morsels.
Two-Hundred Kilos of Junk

Well, thanks to a lot of work, co-ordination and bubble blowing, the great seabed cleaning up operation off Punta de la Mona retrieved over 200 kilos of discarded rubbish, amongst which was a traffic sign, a large lorry tyre, plastic bins, pipes, mirrors and a bucket load of fishing hooks – there was even a part of an electricity generator.
