From the 1st to the 7th: Centro Cívico de La Herradura. Exhibition of the Liga Naval Española, with model boats from the era.

There will be the works of local artists, such as Pepe Gámez, as well as a photographic exhibition by the Junta de Andalucía: “Un mundo bajo el mar”,  by  Manuel
Campillo &  Aurelia Artolachipi. Inauguration on the 1st at 21:00 horas, in the sala de
Exposiciones del Centro Cívico. Visits from 09.00h to 14.00h and 17.00h to 21.00h.

From the 4th to the 7th: Campeonato Nacional de Fotografía Submarina, valid for the Campeonato Mundial de Fotografía Submarina, which will be held in Cuba. Prize giving on the 6th at 19.30h at the Centro Cívico.

From the 3rd to the 30th: Exhibition by the pupils of the Villanueva del Mar secondary school on the shipwrecking. This is on display in the castle during both mornings and evenings, Monday to Saturday.

13th October: Yacht Regatta from the Motril Port to La Herradura Bay, where the 25 galleys sank. Around 13.00h there will be a floral offering from the ships at anchor.

13th of October: There will be a conference held at the Centro Cívico de La Herradura, at 21:00h, given by professors: María del Carmen Calero, y Tomás Hernández, journalist Andrés Cárdenas and cartoonist Juan Francisco Cabrera. During this even the book by Tomás Hernández, Un viento Inesperado and the comic Naufragio en La Herradura, by Juan Francisco Cabrera will be presented.

18th of October: Edición especial de Lotería Nacional, Thursday draw, commemorating the Naufragio  de la Armada en La Bahía de La Herradura.

19th of October: Acto Institucional Conmemorativo del 450 Aniversario del Naufragio de la Armada Española de Felipe II en La Herradura. Fireworks launched from the sea and a 25 rocket salvo in honour of the victims.
