Putting Salt into the Wound

III Maratón Bull Bike Motril 2013

Over 200 cyclists from all over Spain took part in this bull-bike marathon, held in Motril on Sunday the 10th. Some of them had also taken part in the Tour de France and the Giro de Italia, so there was plenty of stiff competition.

VI Kedada Volkswagen Clásicos Playera

Volkswagens from all over Andalucía, Murcia and Alicante turned up for this classic VW Beetle & Microbus meet in La Herradura on the 10th. The organisers, Club VW Granada, registered 42 such vehicles in the village with a total of 76 people participating.

La Castañada

According to the Almuñécar Town Hall, hundreds of people gather in the town square to celebrate La Castañada Sierra at the beginning of the month.
