Over 200 cyclists from all over Spain took part in this bull-bike marathon, held in Motril on Sunday the 10th. Some of them had also taken part in the Tour de France and the Giro de Italia, so there was plenty of stiff competition.

The 57-km marathon, valid for the Federación Andaluza, took in great scenery, passing through La Bullarenga and Las Lomas del Conjuro. The course included uphill and downhill stretches, as well as trial-level tracks and narrow paths.

The winner of the Elite Category was Adolfo García, who completed the route in 140 minutes and 26 seconds, followed by only one second’s difference Motril rider, Álvaro Martín Bacas.
