The public prosecutor is maintaining his recommendation of 14 years imprisonment for a man that allegedly tried to set light to a pub in Salobreña with people in it. The incident occurred in December 2009.

Paseo del Altillo Leaks

There appears to be a problem with the waterproofing of the Paseo del Altillo, which is letting water filter through into the bars on the lower paseo. Unfortunately, this is not a recent occurrence as since the paseo was finished in 2006, some of these businesses have been dogged by damp.
General Strike: Mixed Results

As of Midday, the strike is obtaining different results depending on the size of the town. In Almuñécar it is almost non-existent with the only sign of a general strike, apart from the occasional closed shop, is the rubbish that was not collected in the early hours of the morning.
