The Ministerio de Transportes y Movilidad reopens today the last part of the A-7 that had been closed because of a large rockfall near Castell de Ferro.
The Ministry of Public Works has reopened the A-7 between Carchuna and Castell de Ferro; traffic has been diverted along the N-340 since the landslide.
As can be seen from this aerial photograph of the section of the A-7 affected by the landslide, there are large fissures that have openen up on top the hillside.
This time round, the coast and the capital seem to be equally infected but even so the Guardia Civil traffic police are policing the roads between them. It’s the weekend, after all.
