Two Official Cars Impounded by Judge

A magistrate found in favour of claimants and ordered the Junta de Andalucía to pay 14,000 euros in compensation. Two years went by and nothing was heard from the Junta, so the judge ordered two official cars to be embargoed for subsequent auction.

Violent Women

The Policía Nacional in Granada arrested two women, aged 20 and 21, neither with police records, for glassing another girl. To glass means to attack with a broken glass, normally, but not always, to the face.

Chorizos No Faltan

There’s no shortage of thugs: A father was beaten up in front of his 6-year-old daughter after he recriminated a man for urinating in front of her. This occurred in Granada in broad daylight.

Woman Arrested for Indecent Exposure

It’s not very often that you hear of women being arrested for indecent exposure but this was the case in Santa Fe, Granada. The 30-year-old woman was arrested in the Plaza de España, sitting on a bar terrace virtually naked.

Dognapping

A couple were arrested for allegedly kidnapping a dog and demanding 200 euros from the owner for its return.
