Aquatropic’s Free Entrance Scheme

The Chairman of the Mancomunidad, Rafael Caballero, was in the Aquatropic waterpark in Almuñécar yesterday with its manager, Vicente Barbero, to announce a free-entrance accord.

Now, before you go rushing off to dig out your swimming kit, the free-entrance tickets, numbering 500, are for children only and are for residents of other Costa Tropical towns, to be distributed by their town halls.

In case you are wondering how many towns there are within the Mancomunidad de La Costa Tropical, there are 20 excluding Almuñécar where the park is situated. And Almuñécar includes La Herradura, of course, as part of the municipalitiy.

Albondón, Albuñol, Gualchos – Castell De Ferro, Ítrabo, Jete, Lentegí, Los Guájares, Lújar, Molvízar, Motril, Murtas, Otivar, Polopos – La Mamola, Rubite, Salobreña, Sorvilán, Torrenueva Costa, Turón and Vélez De Benaudalla

On the day of their choosing, one of the above municipalities can set up a stand to promote tourism, as long as it is prearranged with the waterpark and somebody else hasn’t already got that date as their own.
