OK, this is all over the Spanish press and even the BBC but here is what is known to date about the double shooting in Fuengirola
The Costa de Sol became known as the Costa del Crimen in the late 80s with regular gangster like killings and with the deaths of two Scottish men in a shooting, which appear to be score settling, it could be slipping back that way.

Both men, who were in their 40s, where shot of a restaurant terrace on the Fuengirola seafront paseo last Saturday. As can be expected, the terrace was full as there was a televised football match taking place: Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain vs. Inter Milan.
It was 23.30h when a car pulled up alongside and a hooded gunman got out whilst the driver quickly drove off to a nearby pick-up point, conveniently close to the N-340.
The shots were fired a point-blank range at the first victim and the second Scotsman tried to flee into the bar, but was chased by the gunman. People inside, including the staff, scattered. With no escape, the second victim received several gunshot wounds to his chest and stomach, killing him. After that, the gunman fled the scene.
The Emergency Centre 112 was immediately bombarded with calls
Despite the attack, nobody else was injured, including even the wife or girlfriend of one of the victims who had been sitting next to her partner.
Even though the Policía Nacional and Policia Local were soon at the scene, the gunman and getaway driver were well on their way out of the area. The paramedics could do nothing for the two victims of the shooting
The victims reported had a history of drug trafficking, according to a Government’s official, Francisco Javier Salas. In fact, the case was immediately handed over to the anti-drugs & organised crime squad (Udyco)-Costa del Sol.
