Reader in La Herradura asks why there have been so many power outages.
My question is the following,

On Friday, May 23rd, we had a power outage in La Herradura from about 7 pm to 1 am.
Why have we had so many power outages lately and what is being done about it?

Reader’s comment: “We had two cuts on Friday 23rd in Taramay, back in March I reported voltages in excess of 250V to Endesa, naturally nothing has been done about it. Yesterday I checked again and got a reading of 253 volts. I understand the voltage should be 230 +/-7%, that would be a maximum of 246.1, so it is well above the acceptable range.” – Michael
Reader’s comment: “There were several electrical storms in the area last night and these often trip power, especially if a transformer or wiring gets hit by lightning. Probably this is the reason.” – Paul Craddock
Reader’s comment: “To Gazette: Please ask Endesa the question, and give them space to, as a supplier, answer the customers.” – Mads
I will do, Mads, but am very busy at the moment getting the June Gazette ready for the printer. I will do it after we have finished distribution 😉

To Gazett:
Please ask Endesa the question, and give them space
to, as a supplier, answer the customers.
