Almuñécar’s Black Week

Councilor for Commerce, Lucía González, and the Chairwoman of the Asociación del Comercio Sexitano (ACOS), Remedios Rico, presented the Black Week 2024 campaign yesterday before the press.

The campaign begins on Monday the 25th and will run until the Saturday the 30th, with the participation of more than 65 local businesses. Each one will have a small notice on display saying that they are taking part in the campaign.

Councillor González explained that, “This campaign is fun and different, and is done to encourage locals to make their purchases in local businesses, giving support to small traders.”

Chairman Rico explained the details of this campaign, adding, “The campaign aims to promote and impulse local trade, where customers can find interesting discounts, not only during just one day but throughout the week.”

Every customer who makes a purchase will receive a card to be filled in so that it can be entered into a raffle.

The box for the cards is in the Plaza de la Constitución (Town Hall Square). Participating customers will receive a call and be asked a question, which if they get right, will receive one of the 100-euros prizes.

Remedios Rico explained that these local-business, promotional campaigns are well established in the municipality and that each year more and more businesses take part.

When this present campaign concludes, the Asociación del Comercio Sexitano (ACOS) will begin preparing the Christmas Campaign, which will start at the beginning of next month.
