The Guardia Civil arrested an individual, suspected of carrying out a burglary on a bar in La Rábita-Albuñol.
Police officers surprised the 30-year-old man (of no fixed address) actually inside the bar, who far from offering, “It’s a fair cop, Guv,” attacked one of the officers with a large stick. The other officer managed to grabbed the suspect from behind.
However, they both fell to the ground, which is when the suspect latched onto the officer’s leg with his teeth. Once joined by the first officer, after having recovered from the blows with the large stick, between them they managed to subdue and cuff the man.
This incident took place in the early hours of the 17th of this month. A security-alarms company informed the Guardia Civil that one of their alarms had gone off in La Rábita and the Guardia Civil reacted immediately, which gave them time to catch the culprit inside the bar.
