The fire caused most damage in Peña Escrita, El Cerval, Rescate, La Albita, Los Escobales and La Bóveda, damaging private property and public infrastructure such as public lanes.
Councillor Ferrón advised claiming for every kind of compensation and informed them about the progress made is forming accords to secure such grants.
He also pointed out that the Town Hall has been carrying out an intensive repair of the surface of the lanes and their embankments that line them. He said that the study that they have ordered to catalogue the true extension of the damage is almost complete.
The Town Hall has set up an office on Calle Amelia Sánchez Alcázar, where farmers should present the required documents, such as Catastral documents, property deeds and bills for the replacing of damaged equipment, as well as photographs that show what has been damaged by the fire.
