The Guardia Civil are investigating the case of a murdered woman and her two children, whose bodies were found in cold-storage facilities.
The discovery was made in the town of Las Pedroñeras (Cuenca/Castilla-La Mancha) on Friday after a fellow worker and relatives of the 44-year-old woman had reported her missing after not having turned up for work.

When officers went to her house, they found three dismembered bodies ; that of the woman, and her two children, aged nine and three, in a walk-in freezer in an outbuilding within the yard belonging to the house.
Her husband already had a court order out against him, forbidding him from approaching her after repeated cases of gender violence, all of which were reported to the police by the victim..
The suspect used to work in a slaughter house within this town of 7,000 inhabitants and was pending having to begin a prison sentence for gender violence against the woman
