The Mayor of Almuñécar has reported the existence of a social-media account using a similar name with his photo, which is definitely not his!

The account is under the name, Juanjo Alcaldes and appears to exist to lead people into thinking that it is the account of Alcalde Juan José Ruiz Joya.

He reported this to the Guardia Civil, who are looking into it.

The Mayor has stated, “This account had nothing to do with me, nor my political party. I ask you all to ignore it or block it from your Facebook contact list.”
