Two people were injured when one fell on top of the other from an upstairs balcony; she fell whilst cleaning an aircon unit onto a man sat on a bar terrace.

The incident occurred on Calle Conde Villamonte in Almería around 18.00h yesterday. Both victims, aged 27, were taken to Hospital Torrecárdenas.

It was fortunate for her that the man helped to soften her landing but unfortunate for him, evidently, that she fell onto the table where he had been sitting, hitting him as well. He was doubly lucky that the aircon unit didn’t come down with her.

There is no information on the gravity of their injuries nor to their identities other than that they are both aged 27.

Budding romances have begun in stranger circumstances!
