Level One At Last!

The Provincial Committee for Public Health for Granada has lowered the alert level for our health area to Level One.

GRA Health District Situation 25AG21The Granada Sur Health Area comprises of the Costa Tropical and La Alpujarra so the following municipalities are now on this lowest alert level:

Albondón, Albuñol, Almegíjar, Almuñécar, Alpujarra de la Sierra, Bérchules, Bubión, Busquístar, Cádiar, Cáñar, Capileira, Carataunas, Cástaras, Los Guájares, Gualchos, Ítrabo, Jete, Juviles, Lanjarón, Lentegí, Lobras, Lújar, Molvízar, Motril, Murtas, Nevada, Órgiva, Otívar, Pampaneira, Polopos, Pórtugos, Rubite, Salobreña, Soportújar, Sorvilán, La Taha, Torrenueva Costa, Torvizcón, Trevélez, Turón, Ugíjar, Válor y Vélez de Benaudalla.

The Vega, City and Metropolitan Areas of Granada will remain at Level Two for the moment; another week.

Being on Level One means, amongst other things, that you can now have six to a restaurant table inside and 10 on open terraces. However, maximum occupation is set at 75% (interiors) but terrace occupation is now 100%.

Shops and offices are permitted 100% occupation, as are shopping centres. Public pools can also have 100% occupational use, regardless of whether they are inside or outside pools.

Civil ceremonies (weddings, baptisms, etc) are limited to 75% both inside and outside. Cinemas, theatres have a top of 85%.
