Despite the Junta announcing yesterday that mass screening would start in Almuñécar and Motril that same day or today, Town Halls have received no further instructions.
Neither have Guadix or Baza, the two other municipalities in the province selected, received more information from the Minister for Public Health, Jesús Aguirre.
In other words, these Town Halls remain in the dark as far as where and when the testing will be carried out or who will be called.
In preparation both Motril and Almuñecar have offered public buildings for the testing to take place but they have not heard back from the Minister.
When the Junta does get round to letting people know what is happening, we shall publish it here immediately.
