A motorbike rider died as the result of an accident on the N-340 yesterday afternoon, where it passes through the municipality of Salobreña.

The emergency number 112 received a call a little before five o’clock to say that a biker had hit a crash barrier and was seriously injured.

However, when the ambulance arrived, together with the Guardia Civil, it was to find the rider was already dead.

No further information as to the victim’s age, sex or nationality is available at the moment.
