I took the opportunity to walk along the Salobreña seafront paseo and speak with the businesses there to see what they were planning on doing.

I found El Chiringuito El Peñón closed but they intend to reopen after the 9th, if the situation has improved.

Next I spoke with Antonio at the Restaurante Biznaga who told me that they would be closing at the end of the weekend and probably wouldn’t reopen until next year, come March.

Stopping at Chiringuito Flores, I had a chat with Javier. He told me that they intended to brave it through and take each day as it came.

Next I popped into Casa Emilio where I was told that the decision would be made on Tuesday but Emilio might probably go along the same lines as Javier at Flores.

Patricia in Bar Habana, on the other hand, has no intention of closing and will remain open.

Further along the paseo I stopped at the Rey de Boquerón where Ana doesn’t appear to have come to a decision yet, and just across the road, Rosi at the Isla de Capri ice-cream parlour will be closing on the 1st, as they do each year, until the weather warms up enough for ice-cream sales.
