The Junta announced this morning that it will carry out massive screening in any municipality with over 500 cases per 100,000 cases of Covid.
Furthermore the Regional Government has imposed access restrictions on the town of Casariche (Sevilla) for the next fortnight because of its high contagion results.
The Junta de Andalucia has recommended that social and family gatherings within Andalucía be reduced to a maximum of six persons.
The massive PCR testing will be carried out in Pulpí (Almería); Almodóvar del Río (Córdoba); Jamilena, Los Villares & Linares (Jaén); La Campana, Villaverde del Río, Arahal & Paradas (Sevilla) and Sierra de Yeguas & Villanueva de la Concepción (Málaga).
The Junta Spokesman, Elías Bendodo, explained that these exceptional measures have been adopted, conforming to the criteria laid down by a committee of experts.
