Comedy Wildlife Photos

WLD Comedy Wildlife Photography Competition OnLThe Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, which are held in London, were founded in 2015 by two photographers – Paul Joynson Hicks and Tom Sullam, with the aim of promoting conservation through “brilliant and uplifting imagery” and they’re are looking for funny wildlife images!

This year they were overwhelmed with entries, numbering some 7,500 images sent in. From this number they have chosen 44 finalists and the winner will be announced on the 22nd of October. There will be category winners and an overall winner, who will win a safari for a week in Kenya for two… as well as two professional cameras.

The reason that they set up these photographic awards was all about helping conservation but in a fun way, so visit the associated Born Free website for more info.

The very funny second book consisting of the best images from 2017 and 2018 is available. You can obtain a copy on Amazon, entitled: Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards Vol. 2 and in so doing contribute directly to The Born Free Foundation and their conservation work.
