As part of the Programa de Educación Ambiental, Salobreña Town Hall has organised a kayak & padel-surf excursion along the Caleta cliffs for the 6th of August.

The People who have actually organised the event is a nautical-activities business called, The Guardian Sea Club. One of their number, Pablo González, explained that both kayaks and padel surf are sports that are easy to master as long as you are reasonably fit.

The padel-surf boards are much bigger than normal surfing boards, which gives them a greater stability.

Those wishing to participate on the 6th should gather on the Plaza de La Guardia. The trip should take some two hours, commencing at 10.30h and 12.30h. However, you have to get your name down for it before hand at the Oficina de Turismo de Salobreña.
