La Herradura & Latest BOE

LHR The BayWe have managed to speak with the Almuñécar Town Hall, asking whether bars and restaurants in La Herradura can permit customers to eat inside…

The answer is no.

Together with Almuñécar, it will have to wait until next Monday when the Province of Granada will move on to Phase Two... with a bit of luck!

There has been a lot of doubt because In Salobreña, for example, the municipal dependencies of Lobres, etc, were included within the max-5,000 inhabitant category, allowing residents to go out when they pleased instead of keeping to the timetable. In fact, the Mayor of Salobreña is hoping that as the town has been shorn of its satelitte populations, it can be considered as having fewer than 10,000 inhabitants. Good luck with that one!

However, having had this confirmed on the phone by a, Almuñécar, Town Hall councillor, it means that La Herradura cannot take advantage of being a municipal dependency of fewer than 10,000 inhabitants.

Sorry!

Wendy: You have to make an appointment but the waiting list is very long, which is why they have staggered the ITV obligation times. Nobody is obligated to get their ITV done until, at the very least, until 45 days after the end of the Lock Down 😉
