A second man has been arrested in Torrox for breaking the lock down. This time it was a Pakistani resident of Nerja who not only went out when he shouldn’t have, but also ignored the police officers’ instructions.
The municipal-police officers came across the man on the paseo in Torrox and reminded him that he should be at home and not out on the streets, yet instead of going home he insisted on wandering along the paseo.
Because of this, instead of simply being fined, he was arrested and taken to the Guardia Civil post, where it was agreed to release him until he could be brought before a magistrate once the lock down is lifted.
The Policía Local of Torrox have so far handed out 70 fines and made two arrests. The first arrest took place on the 18th of March and involved a 42-year-old man who insulted and dared the police officers to make him go home. The arrested man, D.L.P, who is from Jaén but is a resident in Torrox, also made death threats against them.
