A lorry driver from Motril was involved in a road accident on the AP-7 in Castellón (Valencia) when he lost control of the vehicle. He is at present in the ICU of Valencia’s general hospital
The 65-year-old man lost control of the trailer loaded with pallets of paper, resulting in the whole rig falling through the gap between the lanes of a motorway bridge. Other drivers who witnessed the accident contacted the emergency services.
Fire personnel managed to free the driver from the wreck so that he could be attended by paramedics and then rushed to hospital.
