There was a road accident on the A-7 where it passes through the municipality of Gualchos in the early hours of yesterday.

A lorry driver had to be freed from his cab by the Motril fire service after it tipped over on this autovía travelling in the Almería direction.

According to the 112-Emergency-call centre, the accident occurred at approximately five in the morning at kilometre point 349 for reasons unknown.

Consequently, the east bound lanes were closed off by the Guardia Civil whilst the lorry was being removed.
