And they’re reportedly causing accidents.

Car manufactures test their new, high-range models out on real road conditions rather than circuits. These cars are easy to spot because they have razzle-dazzle camouflage or other patterns designed to mask the outline of the car.

This caught the attention of the ecologist association, Sierra Nevada Limpia who reported its presence (just up from the hostal restaurante Los Puentes) to the authorities because of the danger that it posed both its inflammable nature and pollution factor should there be a leak.
It turns out that it belongs to V-Motech Allemagne who decided to set it up there without any permit – the Junta has since fined them.
This company that specialises in road tests for high-range vehicles uses the road both because of the altitude and the road surface.
