The Guardia Civil and the Policía Nacional arrested three North African stowaways who had arrived at Motril Port aboard the Melilla ferry.
According to the Guardia Civil the three stowaways jumped into the water as soon as the ferry came through the harbour mouth in order to avoid the passenger control following disembarcation.
The Guardia arrested two of them whilst the third was picked up by the Policía Nacional.
The three men, all adults, were held in police custody, pending their expulsion from the country.
