Two men were injured in a bar fight in Vélez Benaudalla in the early hours of Saturday the 11th.

Both the Policía Local and the Guardia Civil turned up to sort things out. The two injured parties had got into a heated argument and started throwing bar stools, glasses and bottles at each other.

The owners of the bar lodged a complaint before the Guardia Civil (una denuncia) because of the damage caused.

Both men were taken to the local medical centre to be treated for their injuries although neither had any serious ‘war wounds’.
