A motorbike policeman belonging to the Guardia Civil was involved in an accident when he collided with the rear of a car in front of him.

The accident occurred around midday on Good Friday in Murcia on the A-7 after the car in front of him braked suddenly.

As a result of the accident, the policeman suffered two fractured ribs and a broken collar bone.

The policeman had arrived to relieve two other officers who were directing traffic around another road accident.

The reason that the car had braked without warning was because the driver wanted get a better look at the other road accident as he drove by.
