Castell Beach Toilets Vandalised

ECO Castell Beach Toilets 01Castell Town Hall installed public toilets on the beach leading up to the Día de Andalucía, bank-holiday weekend – they have since been vandalised.

The Mayor, Toñi Antequera, was mightily miffed, as you would expect, and has asked any local who might have witnessed something suspicious to come forward with any clue as to who the culprit might be.

Although the outside of the toilets is untouched, somebody smashed the toilets bowls with a piece of metal.

This idiotic act of vandalism is going to cost 250 euros to make good, claimed the Mayor on social media.

The said beach toilets are not only for beachgoers but also for any event  that is held in the square, such as these past, regional-fiesta celebrations.
