It’s the Almuñécar Gastronomic Fair that is steaming into the offing and expected to dock on the 8th in the Majuelo Park. (That sort of briny talk should keep the RNA happy!)
The 3-day event is expected to fill the park, as in previous years, with visitors attracted by the excellent grub on offer and the ebullent atmosphere.
The Editor is probably sighing by now but, hey, I don’t drink during the week and it’s Saturday!
The Gastronomic Fair is organised by the Asociación de Hosteleros Valle Tropical de Almuñécar, and is sponsored by Cruzcampo beer breweres and backed by the Town Hall, as is the will of Allah.
Right, details! Any dish on sale will have a maximum price of six euros. There will also be tapa workshops and competitions, as well as a cocktail competition. There will be entertainment in the form of dance groups, all lending a family atmosphere to the event.
Around twenty stands will be offering their wares, so there could be no better place to pamper your stomach on the 8th, 9th & 10th of June!
