According to the Almuñécar branch of the PSOE, the state of La Herradura “is shameful,” because public spaces are “dirty and unkempt.”
The Secretary General of the PSOE, Rocío Palacios, considers that the situation is especially worrisome because we are at the gates of summer, which is completely unacceptable.
Referring to the First Councillor of La Herradura, “Does he not have eyes in his head to see the state the village is in,” he asks, observing, “the streets are dirty, the public garden areas are untended and there are potholes everywhere.”
She especially singles out emblematic areas such as El Chorrillo and the Plaza de San José for criticism on their cleanliness.
She also had harsh words for the plan to build a roundabout junction next to the Mercado Municipal, which she considers superfluous and will solely exist because of the conservative’ obsession to plant flags.
She considers that access to the village via the castle would be of far more importance.
