The governing council of the Almuñécar Town Hall has given the green light for 90 new dwellings in La Herradura.

The building licence is being issued to Iberdrola Inmobiliaria to knock up this new urbanización, Poqueira del Mar, on the opposite hillside to the N-340 junction for Urb. Las Palomas.

These dwellings belong to Phase One representing an investment of just over eight-million euros. Phase Two will have a similar number of dwellings, bringing the total up to 200.

The area where the urbanización will rest has already has its ground infrastructure (street layout, etc) in place, which was done several years ago and had laid inactive since then.
