To say that the entertainment in Almuñécar’s Parque Majuelo has been outstanding this year would be a gross understatement. Residents and visitors alike have remarked on the high standard of the artists on show and the professionalism in the presentation.

Well, it hasn’t finished yet… it is the turn of the Argentinians, who will be showcasing the Tango in a show called Sentimientos Argentinos performed by the performance company Estilo y Pasión & Revofando Sueños. When? I hear you ask.  Tomorrow, starting at 22:00. If you pop into the tourist office in Palacet Najarra just round the corner from the park, you can pick up a ticket for just 10€. If you can’t do that, you can pay at the gate, but it will be 12€.

If you think this is just a bit close dancing to some appropriate music, you are very much mistaken. Spectacular is the word that jumps immediately to mind. The percussion sequences using long pieces of cord spinning round with weights on the ends, striking the ground in perfect rhythm with the music is something to see. As for the Tango… Argentinians dancing a Tango, is enough said, we think. Enjoy.
